Handwoven Seat Cushions
My seat cushions are a nod to the heavy woven blankets, often backed with sheepskins, that kept winter’s chill at bay back in the old country. They are handwoven wool and linen textiles hand sewn to Gotland sheepskins. The weave structure is know as bottentäckeväv in Swedish and I also use it for wall hangings.
